Evidence Of Learning
Students will: Analyze weather patterns and make predictions; Create a forecasting tool; Write thorough explanations of the factors of wave formation; Design and write a handbook that showcases their surfing knowledge.
Instructor
Mark Croxford
Mark Croxford is an expert educator with 24 years of experience. He earned a BS in Biology and Mathematics and an MS in Meteorology, with postgraduate work at the University of Miami and the University of Pennsylvania. Mark has participated in tropical cyclone research, forecasted for WNBC, and teaches high school and college level classes. He enjoys surfing, traveling, reading, and learning new languages.
