Students will: Write and build a website; Research the cultural and political factors of an historical era and location; Showcase detailed knowledge of an historical period; Create academic artifacts that demonstrate the values and ideologies that underpin historical societies.
Instructor
Peter Morton
Dr. Peter Morton is an expert educator, originally from Edinburgh, Scotland. He teaches Latin and Social Studies in Philadelphia. With over 15 years of experience, he engages students in active learning, connecting history to the present through creative projects like website design and political modeling. Dr. Morton holds a doctorate in classics from the University of Edinburgh and enjoys board games and exploring new cuisines in his free time.
